What Do You Earn When You Become The Emperor?
Becoming the Emperor of Cyrodiil offers many great rewards that are exclusive to this mighty role. First off, you'll gain a title proclaiming your status that you can wear proudly. Even once you lose Emperor status, you'll still gain the "Former Emperor" or "Former Empress" title to show off the fact that you were once the most prestigious rank in Tamriel.
Outside of the title, you get the Emperor's Regalia costume, and you can buy the Throne Of Cyrodiil furnishing from the Achievement Furnisher in Cyrodiil. In addition to these cosmetics, you'll gain many stat bonuses in Cyrodiil while you're the Emperor, which you can read about below.

How To Become The Emperor Of Cyrodiil
To become Emperor, you'll need to embark on a journey that requires multiple steps. The first thing you should do is choose a campaign to play in, preferably one that isn't too busy but still has enough players that you'll have a consistent flow of combat to gain Alliance Points from.
Once you choose the campaign, set it as your home and wait until it resets. You'll want to be ready the day it resets and gain as many Alliance Points as possible in the first few days. Although the first few days are crucial, you'll also need to continue to gain Alliance Points throughout the month to stay at the top of the leaderboards for your faction until you become Emperor.
Unfortunately, there are often so many players trying to gain Emperor status that it'll be difficult for you to juggle both real-life work and the campaign, which is why it's best to wait until you have a long weekend or break to try to become the Emperor. You can find out more below about how to gain Alliance Points.
Reach The Top Of The Leaderboards For Your Faction
Your first objective is to simply gain Alliance Points, which is possible by completing standard PVP activities including defeating players, capturing Keeps and Resources, completing PVP quests in Cyrodiil, and repairing the walls and doors of Keeps.
Whoever gains the most Alliance Points during the campaign will be at the top of the leaderboards for their faction, so you must be constantly gaining Alliance Points throughout the month until you gain the crown. Killing groups of players in a 1vX fight is the fastest way to earn Alliance Points in theory, but it's very difficult, so it may not be feasible if you're new to PVP. There's also a bonus you gain towards Alliance Points when there's a low population in your campaign for your faction.
Another great way to gain Alliance Points is to join a group and follow them around Cyrodiil, capturing Keeps and Resources. You can find groups through the Zone Chat feature or even start your group if you want to have more control over which Keeps you captured. Additionally, joining a guild is a good decision since you can find other players to PVP with, as well as allies who can push for you to become the Emperor.
Capture All Six Keeps Surrounding The Imperial City
Once you gain the number one spot on the leaderboards for your faction, you can start trying to gain Emperorship. To do this, your faction needs to capture and hold all six of the Keeps surrounding the Imperial City at once. These Keeps include Fort Ash, Castle Roebeck, Blue Road Keep, Castle Alessia, Chalman Keep, and Fort Aleswell. This is tricky because you'll need a somewhat organized effort to gain all the necessary Keeps.
If you can't gain momentum with your faction, then you can try to take a smaller group to capture the six Keeps during the hours that your server is less active, such as at night on the North American servers, which will make the task much easier. This step is also easier if you choose a less active campaign since you won't face as much opposition. Once you capture every Keep surrounding the Imperial City while at the top of the leaderboards for your faction, you'll become the Emperor.
