After the gripping drama that was Chapter Five, you'd think Triangle Strategy might give you some breathing room. Well, it does, but not much. This is one of the shortest chapters in the game, with just a singular exploration event and a combat event to contend with.
That being said, there are always things that you could miss and while this chapter's combat is on the easier side, it's easy to get tripped up. Here's our walkthrough for Chapter Five of Triangle Strategy: Remember Me.
Exploration Event: Whiteholm Castle
Having narrowly escaped a grisly fate, the party has made it to the bridge over the Norzelia river. As they stop to catch their breath, you have a chance to have a look around the place. While there weren't items to grab the last time you were here, when you had a vote to be getting on with, there are some to pick up now.
You can climb down the ladders on the sides of the bridge. Hold R to skip the climbing animation.

Conviction Conversations
Conviction Conversation: Hughette | |
---|---|
Could Roland not flee on your hawk? That may be his best chance for survival. | Liberty |
Circumstances aren't as dire as they seem. We only need survive tonight, and then we can seek out allies to rally around Roland. | Utility |
Such a dour outlook does not suit a Kingsguard. Keep heart – we fight for the royal family together. | Morality |
Conviction Conversation: Geela | |
---|---|
Regardless of his motivations, he attacked us under the guise of an ally. Such an act is unforgivable. | Morality |
We cannot know the reasons for his actions, but you needn't suffer his wrath on our account. Return to Aesfrost, and we shall make do somehow. | Liberty |
Hyzante will not stand idly by while the joint mining venture flounders. What could Aesfrost hope to gain by making two enemies? | Utility |
Don't worry about choosing the option that asks Geela to return to Aesfrost, she will refuse. You can grab those Liberty points without worry.
Side Story: Falkes Streets
We find Landroi here, fretting over the state of the crown city and pledging his forces.
If you've unlocked any new Character Stories, now might be a good time to take a look!

Objective | Secure the drawbridge. |
Do not let Roland die. | |
Difficulty | ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) |
In order to secure the drawbridge, you will have to first raise the gate. To do this, you need to move a unit adjacent to the lever next to the gate and select the unique interaction that pops up.
Once you have done that, securing the drawbridge is a simple matter of defeating every enemy on it. This means you do not have to defeat every enemy on the map to complete the battle.
Whiteholm Castle Battle Strategy |
---|
This battle is definitely on the easier side when compared to those that come before and after it. There are three basic steps to the fight:
- Eliminate the units in front of you, optionally taking down the Bowmen on the ramparts.
- Open the gate.
- Eliminate the six enemies on the drawbridge.
By now, you should know the strengths and weaknesses of the three enemy types that you'll face in this battle. The Blades are generic fighters who can be taken out with any strategy, the Bowmen should be focused with your melee units, and the Shieldbearers will die quickly to sustained magic assaults.
To take care of those pesky archers on the ramparts, just send a melee fighter up to deal with them. They won't be able to attack a unit adjacent to them and if you can push them to the edge of the platform, you'll be severely reducing their potential threat range.
It's tempting to leave a few units behind to help Maxwell out with the reinforcements. While this would let you get more experience and loot out of the battle, it isn't strictly necessary. You can consider this battle a normal "Defeat all enemies" fight with the caveat that you only really need to take care of the ones on the bridge itself.
If you do decide to help Maxwell out with a few units, consider leaving Geela with them. Your units will get surrounded pretty quickly and they'll take a good chunk of damage as a result, Geela's healing will be immensely helpful, especially if you have Sanctuary unlocked. She can also cast Haste on Maxwell, to speed up his murdering.
The drama doesn't stop once the battle is over, though. Watch the exciting scenes and then get ready for the next chapter, and boy is it a doozy.
