Two Point Campus: 8 Relatable Things Every Player Does

Once you get through the tutorial and small steps in the beginning hours of Two Point Campus, you get freedom in how you want to run your school and succeed with passing students and gaining a three-star campus. Of course, this leads to doing plenty of things that will overlap with other players.

While a majority of what you do will be for a goal, you may do some stuff that is for fun, just to give you some amusement. Goal-oriented or goofing around by making your university a chaotic institution, you will find that you are doing things other players like to do. Sometimes these things are just too irresistible not to do.

8 Go Overkill On The Decorations

You will want to maximize the attractiveness of your campus, from individual rooms to whole buildings and even the outside. This will lead to spamming a specific decoration in hopes it will fill up the bar. It won't, as the game sees what you're trying to do, and you will need some variety, but that little hiccup won't stop you from trying.

Early on, when you are learning the ropes, you will likely have a campus with a room filled with the same poster or lawns flooded with the same tree. Later on, you will get the hang of it and make more appealing campuses that are attractive to the game and to you too. Until then, spam away.

7 Misplace An Item

Assembling a room seems so simple. Items lock into blocks easily and will tell you what will fit or what will not. The mechanic is intuitive, even for freshmen of the genre. Still, mistakes can be made.

It can be due to the camera or a misjudgment of the tile that the item is on, but you will likely accidentally have something where you won't want it. That could be having it outside the room, or you just need to put that bench up one space for it to be lined up properly. Thankfully, you can easily move items or even rooms after setting them.

6 Run Out Of Money

Financial management is an important skill to have in real life and in Two Point Campus. In a game where items can be costly, especially as you want every bar from attractiveness to student happiness to be that sweet dark green, you will need to spend money to achieve those goals.

Whether constructing a new building or hiring more staff, you will likely run out of money eventually. It can be a total accident, or you simply overstepped in your planning. Thankfully, if you have some science courses, then you will be rolling in money in no time to make up for your mishap to avoid bankruptcy.

5 Run Out Of Room

While you manage your money, you will also need to manage your space. How big should your bathroom be? How big should you make the library? These are essential questions to ask as you examine the size of your space when constructing these important rooms.

You are bound to run out of room. That can be due to multiple things. You could make something too small, so you cannot place as much as you would like to upgrade its rating or have all the essentials that students need. You can also run out of room to add more rooms. Maybe you made some too big, and now your floor space is taken up, and you have to buy another plot of land.

4 Deliver To The Wrong Student

Your students will make requests, giving you nice rewards like Kudosh to unlock more items. Plus, it will make them happy. You don't have to accept them, but it is nice to do as many as you can afford.

Some requests will ask you to deliver something to the campus or a specific room. Sometimes, it is unclear where the student will have access to that food stand or jukebox that they want, and the game will tell you they can't access it, thus not letting you complete the task. You can move it or buy another in the right place, so it is not a big mistake, but it will likely happen.

3 Laying Off Staff

Business gets ugly, even if it is for something altruistic like education. Still, you are in an administrative position, so tough decisions will be made to maximize profits or get you out of a rut.

Layoffs are likely to happen at some point. You may have too many employees, then you may have to fire some of them. The other reason might be to hire better, pricier people. Early on, you will hire level one people with fewer skills. Over time, you will unlock people who can do tasks faster or wear multiple hats.

2 Be Overrun With Emails

It is not an email per se, but you have messages that give you your monthly profits, tasks to accept, and other important information. It is easy to stay on top of it, but eventually, you will get wrapped up in something and forget about it.

Thankfully, getting through messages is quick. Accept or reject the requests made by students and click okay on reports. It should not overwhelm you, especially if you like to be tidy. Still, the day will come when you forget to check, and there will be a stack waiting for you.

1 Don't Forget About Career Goals

Something that you might forget is your Career Goals. As you do anything, it will likely build up toward fulfilling a Career Goal. It can range of things like how many students sleep or have romances.

The button to access this is at the top right; unlike the messages button on the bottom right, this one is small. It has a little orange indicator to let you know that you have rewards to claim. With it being so small compared to most of the UI, it may get lost as you focus on other areas. Remember, check the upper right corner. Kudosh is waiting.
