If you’re not already aware, Wordle is an online word game that has taken the world by storm during the past year.

Each day a new five letter word is added to the Wordle website, with players getting six guesses to figure it out.

Answers are entered into a tiled grid and each tile flashes a different colour depending on whether you’re spot on or not.

If the letter you entered is correct and in the right position a tile will go green, if the letter you entered is in the Wordle answer but not in the right position it will go yellow and if the letter isn’t in the word at all the tile will go grey.

This colour coded system lets people share online their route to figuring out an answer without giving any spoilers away.

People who managed to guess the daily Wordle answer for today in one go will be able to share the coveted social media post which shows one row of six green squares. What a clever clogs!
