Mortal Kombat 11 announced John Rambo today as a new playable fighter. He’s the latest in a growing list of DLC characters for the game, which has seen its roster grow considerably since it launched in 2019, and he’s just one of the new characters arriving in the Kombat Pack 2.
Other characters in the Kombat Pack 2 include Rain and Mileena, but the Stallone-looking Rambo is certainly the star of the show.

“I’m your worst nightmare,” Rambo says in the trailer before letting his machine gun loose on the entire jungle. And yes, that is indeed Sylvester Stallone’s voice.
The game’s Aftermath expansion includes a new story mode as well as additional skins and the Sheeva, Fujin, and RoboCop characters. Mortal Kombat is no stranger to guest appearances, and MK11 previously added the Terminator T-800 model as a playable character, as well.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Stadia, and Switch, and it has sold more than 8 million units. The game will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well, with free upgrades as well as cross-gen support beginning November 17. Preorder skins are for Noob Saibot, Liu Kang, and Skarlet. The “Time Warriors Pack” emphasize blacks and reds, with Noob Saibot in particular getting a huge makeover and includes terrifying eyes in his mask.
