Nvidia will hold a CES 2021 keynote Tuesday, during which the PC hardware maker is expected to show off its latest and greatest in desktop and gaming laptop graphics processors.
The stream gets started at noon EST. Catch it right here (via Nvidia’s YouTube channel), or on Twitch, or on the company’s website.
Rumors going into CES 2021 have it that Nvidia will reveal its latest RTX 30-series graphics cards for laptops. Nvidia followed a similar timeline two years ago when it launched the RTX 2080 in the fall of 2018 and then followed that with an RTX 20-series reveal for laptops at CES 2019.
In September 2020, Nvidia revealed the RTX 3070, RTX 3080, and RTX 3090 cards, based on the company’s new, more powerful Ampere microarchitecture. All three launched in September. Additional Ampere products for desktops could be shown Tuesday, too.

Of particular interest will be the pricing, if any is announced. When the RTX 30-series cards were introduced, their prices started at $499 to $699, seen as more reasonable for the performance offered than the prices of the preceding 20-series.
That said, Nvidia and other chip makers are coming off a year in which demand for their processors far outstripped their supply, plus operating and logistical issues associated with the global COVID-19 pandemic. Last week, hardware maker Asus told retailers to expect MSRP increases on its products, which also reflected the resumption of import tariffs imposed by the outgoing Trump administration.
Asus likewise has a CES 2021 livestream planned for Wednesday at noon EST, where it will show new designs of its ROG and TUF gaming laptops.
