Funimation, Wakanim, and VRV Join Crunchyroll Today
Crunchyroll just got a whole lot bigger as Sony has finally merged lots of different services it owns into one big anime super-subscription. A bunch of exclusive shows from Funimation, Wakanim and VRV are now available for Crunchyroll subscribers to watch, although not all shows have made the switch. John DiMaggio To Return As Bender In Hulu’s Futurama Revival
From Eastern animation to Western animation now, as it has been confirmed that John Di Maggio will be returning as the voice of Bender in Hulu’s Futurama revival after initial talks between the two had broken down. DiMaggio believed he was being “lowballed” by Hulu so was reluctant to sign a new deal, although it looks like Hulu may have come back with an improved offer. Now DiMaggio is on board, this new series of Futurama will have both the original creators as well as the entire voice cast of previous series.

Disney stated on its official Twitter account that it would be halting all releases in Russia and that the halt would be lifted depending on the direction of the “evolving situation.” Disney has now joined both WarnerMedia and Sony in halting releases in the country as more and more companies try to distance themselves from the conflict. In the post, Martin comes off quite humble as he explains that “almost all the credit” should go to FromSoftware and Miyazaki, saying that he is “honored to have met them and worked with them.”
