Eight More Women Sue Sony Over Sexist And “Toxic Environment”
Sony is currently dealing with a gender discrimination class-action lawsuit that it was served in November last year. The last we heard about this case is that Sony wanted it thrown out of court over a lack of specific facts, but today it’s been revealed that eight more women have come forward with testimonies reporting men being favored for promotions, bullying from male colleagues, and a high turnover of female employees. Former program manager Kara Johnson even claims that “Sony is not equipped to appropriately handle toxic environments.”
Dead Space Remake Reportedly Delayed Out Of 2022, Targeting Early 2023
Dead Space’s highly-anticipated reboot has reportedly been delayed to 2023, according to a new report from VentureBeat. We now have two speedrunners who have completed Elden Ring in under an hour, the first being LilAggy in 59 minutes and 38 seconds. However, that was quickly topped by Distortion2 who posted a time of 49 minutes and 29 seconds earlier today. It’s amazing to see people finishing Elden Ring in the same amount of time it takes for me to decide what class I’m going with.
Miyazaki Was “Anxious” About Elden Ring’s Launch
Finally, a recent interview with Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that he was actually really “anxious” about the game’s launch, explaining that he never gets used to it. While Miyazaki knew that Elden Ring would be the “largest-scale ever” for one of FromSoftware’s titles, he still didn’t expect the incredible reception the game had, outselling many massive, long-running titles. Now the game is out, Miyazaki and his team definitely deserve to bask in the praise.
