Amazon is offering select Prime Day deals ahead of the main event on October 13. The 48-hour deals bonanza for Prime members had been delayed multiple times this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. With only a few days to go until Amazon Prime Day 2020 officially begins, the company is building hype with a batch of early Prime Day 2020 deals to help you start saving right now. Amazon has also revealed a ton of deals that will go live on Prime Day.
This is the second week of early Prime Day deals. Last week, Amazon discounted a 4K TV, the Echo Dot, and the Fire TV Recast. Though those deals have ended, you can now save on a trio of 4K Fire TVs, the Kindle Paperwhite, and more. Considering the first TV deal sold out fairly quickly last week, these deals will likely sell out before they officially end on October 12. All Prime Day deals are exclusive to Amazon Prime members, including the early deals.
Those in the market for a new TV for the living room can pick up the Toshiba 55-inch 4K Fire TV for $300, down from $450. This is one of the better Smart TV deals we’ve seen this year, so stock will probably go fast. Equipped with Fire TV out of the box, this 55-inch TV has instant access to thousands of apps, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and, of course, Prime Video.
If you’re looking for a smaller TV, the Toshiba 32-inch Fire TV is down to just $120. It’s essentially the same TV as the 55-inch model, only smaller. Alternatively, the Insignia 43-inch 4K Fire TV is up for grabs for $200, down from $300.
Amazon has multiple Kindle ebook readers on sale as well. You can get a Kindle Paperwhite bundled with a Hunger Games cover and power adapter for $110, which is a savings of $70. The Kindle Kids Edition is $93 and comes with a screen protector, power adapter, and a year subscription to Amazon FreeTime.
If you want Alexa support in your car, you grab the Echo Auto for just $20. The hands-free device normally goes for $50, so this is a great deal. You can also pick up the Blink Mini, a smart security camera with Alexa support, for $25 right now.

Interestingly, all three of the TVs actually ship and sell from Best Buy. This is the first time we’ve seen any product on Amazon that’s actually sold by Best Buy–a major competitor in the tech and entertainment space. This also might explain why we haven’t heard about a competing Prime Day sale from Best Buy. Meanwhile, Target and Walmart will both have sales designed to steal some thunder from Amazon next week.
