Bleacher Report Gaming Brings Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl II Featuring Fortnite to TBS

Grab your axe, strap on the glider, and get ready to harvest. Fortnite is back. Thursday at 3 p.m. PST the finals of the Streamer Bowl II Fortnite competition are set to take place with teams playing for a $1M USD prize pool to give to charity. But the fun doesn’t stop there. On Sunday, Feb. 14, Turner Sports B/R Gaming will debut a star-studded special presentation of the Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl II Featuring Fortnite at Midnight EST, with a rebroadcast at Midnight PT on TBS.

This special two-hour broadcast Fortnite event will showcase the “best of the best” from the Twitch Rivals stream from Feb. 4, featuring 30 three-person teams of top NFL players including Christian McCaffrey, Kyler Murray, and Saquon Barkley. Those NFL players will partner with some of the best Fortnite players in the world along with content creators and others, competing for a share of the $1M charity prize pool.

“This is the type of event that hits right at B/R Gaming’s sweet spot of gaming and culture, and can reach a significant cross-section of fans throughout the Turner Sports and Bleacher Report ecosystem in a way that we believe is unique and will serve as a model as we move forward,” Jennifer Dill, VP of esports at Turner Sports, told the The Esports Observer.

B/R Gaming, the gaming vertical of Bleacher Report, has been created to cover “all aspects of gaming culture.” The event and eventual broadcast will be promoted on tonight’s stream and then across B/R Gaming and B/R Gridiron, Bleacher Report’s football vertical.
