Dallas Fuel Sign Jecse

The Dallas Fuel attempting to secure every single Element Mystic player from Overwatch history continues after they announced the addition of Seung-soo “Jecse” Lee following his release from the Houston Outlaws. Hyperbole aside, the only player signed to Dallas who never played for Element Mystic is Joon “Fielder” Kwon previously from the Paris Eternal.

One or two more pieces and the Dallas Fuel have a scary team heading into the 2021 season of the Overwatch League.

Jecse is heading into his third season of the Overwatch League with possibly something to prove. He spent the 2019 season with the Seoul Dynasty who performed well at times and the 2020 season with the Houston Outlaws who looked abysmal for most of it. It feels like Jecse’s potential hasn’t been reached yet and if the new Fuel roster lives up to the hype, he might be able to become a household name at the main support position. Couple that with his wholesome attitude and it is a great pickup for the Dallas Fuel.

The Fuel continue to assemble players from different eras of Element Mystic, the iconic Overwatch Contenders Korea team. After securing the big names from Paris, they turned their sights to other players including Jecse’s Outlaws teammate in Rapel and the massive trade of Fearless from the Shanghai Dragons. They also hung on to Doha from this past season despite releasing every other player on the roster. Only a hitscan player remains for Dallas to pick up.

Dallas Fuel’s seemingly bottomless pit of money has allowed the team to put together their strongest roster yet and fans truly have something to be excited for in 2021. This seems to happen every year, but with previous contracts (and players) gone, the Fuel finally have the chance to essentially build from scratch and they look exciting heading into the upcoming season. If everything goes smooth for Dallas once the season starts, they can make a serious run to the top.
