e.l.f. Cosmetics and Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle launched a collaboration this week that cross-crossed brands to create special limited-edition products with the help of popular influencers and streamers, all in the name of celebrating International Women’s Day.
The products included a line of cosmetics inspired by popular Chipotle ingredients, branded and packaged with the restaurant chain’s logos and colors, and a special menu item, a vegan dish called the “Eyes. Chips. Face. Bowl” (which aligns with e.l.f.’s focus on animal-free, cruelty-free cosmetics).
On Thursday at 8 p.m. EST, popular Australian streamers Loserfruit and Fasffy, along with e.l.f. Cosmetics’ Anna, will get together for a “GAME-UP,” a gaming & makeup/makeover live stream on Loserfruit’s Twitch channel. In between playing games, participants will try out the limited-edition line of makeup, and consume Chipotle.
Earlier in the week, popular drag queens Trixie and Kim Chi co-hosted a special event on YouTube where they used the e.l.f. line while consuming Chipotle on air.
