Southeast Asia-based EVOS Esports announced that its viewership numbers increased “1,000%” quarter-over-quarter on short-form video app, TikTok. The total number of TikTok views on EVOS Esports talents’ TikTok accounts increased from more than 49M views in Q1 2020 to over 700M in Q2 2020. The total number of TikTok followers also increased from over 9M followers in Q1 2020 to over 24M followers in Q2 2020.
WHIM Indonesia, which manages EVOS and other gaming talents in the region, partnered with TikTok in May of this year.
EVOS fields teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Free Fire. Last November, the company raised $4.4M USD in a Series A round led by Insignia Ventures Partners.
The organization’s current sponsors include Visa, Unilever’s Axe, Lazada, Axis, Pop Mie, and Top Coffee.
