The Florida Mutineers will host a Call of Duty charity competition called “Plunder In The Sky” on Friday. The Misfits Gaming Group’s Call of Duty League franchise team will host the three-hour event on Twitch at 4 p.m EST.
The event will feature members from the heavy metal band TRIVIUM, YouTube content creators RDCWorld, Nicholas “Nick Eh 30” Amyoony, David “StoneMountain64” Steinberg, Big Brother season 10 winner and season 14 runner-up Dan Gheesling, Call of Duty pro player Thomas “Tommey” Trewren, Ryan “Northernlion” Letourneau, Florida Mayhem content creator Sam “Samito” Dawahare, and rapper and YouTuber Jordan “LEGIQN” Payton.
Charities tied to the event include the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Call Of Duty Endowment, American Cancer Society, Gamers Outreach, Wounded Warrior Project, Miami Cancer Institute, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, No Kid Hungry, and many more.
The prize pool for the event is being generated by donations through donation platform Softgiving. More than $25K USD has been donated for the event.
