Esports company Immortals Gaming Club has hired Brad Peters as its new director of brand. Peters previously served as brand manager for game publisher Ubisoft, creators of Rainbow Six Siege. He will report to IGC VP of marketing Max Bass and focus on leading the brand direction of Immortals – the name under which IGC fields its Valorant and League of Legends teams.
IGC is somewhat unique among esports organizations in that it operates separate brands for its various competitive teams even outside of the Activision Blizzard franchise ecosystem. Peters will be responsible for the creative and marketing direction of the Immortals brand specifically rather than IGC as a whole or its other team properties such as MIBR.
