Russian esports organization Gambit announces a partnership with Monaco-based eponymous sports club.
From now on, Gambit’s Dota 2 and Fortnite rosters will play under the new tag; AS Monaco Gambit (ASM.GMB).
The partnership applies to Gambit’s Dota 2 and Fortnite squads, excluding League of Legends and CS:GO teams for now. And will include streams, content creating and joint giveaways.
“We are the first Russian esports club to strike a partnership with a foreign football club”. Said Irina Semenova, Head of Esports division at MTS (Gambit’s parent company). “Gambit Esports brand has been known abroad for some time now and we believe that this partnership will broaden our fan base all over the world,” Semenova said.

Semenova also spoke of the “new unique experiences” which would be available “to fans of esports and football” alike as a result of the partnership.
