North American esports organisation the Kanzas City Pioneers has announced a partnership with restaurant chain Jack Stack Barbecue.
As the organisation’s new presenting partner, Jack Stack Barbecue will plan a series of co-branded engagements with The Pioneers across social media and streaming platforms. Moreover, both parties will collaborate on in-person events and fan giveaways.

According to the release, the first of its kind partnership is expected to help Jack Stack reach a broader (and younger) audience. Moreover, the deal will look to create greater exposure for the restaurant’s guests who are passionate about esports.
Travis Carpenter, President at Jack Stack Barbecue, commented: We think there’s more than a handful of barbecue fans in the esports community. It’s exciting to be able to connect with our guests through their interests – and we appreciate the opportunity to learn more about esports and the competitive gaming community through this partnership with The Pioneers.”
The Pioneers currently field teams in a number of esports titles, such as Rocket League, VALORANT, Madden 22, and Halo. Some of the organisation’s other partners include DoorDash, Under Armour, Generation Esports, and Zoomph.

Mark Josey, CEO of the Kansas City Pioneers, added: “We are excited to partner with a very iconic Kansas City staple.
“We love their juxtaposition of being a local, beloved Kansas City barbeque tradition while also having the ability to deliver to anywhere in the country. We are looking forward to introducing our community to the best and most delicious barbeque out there!”
Esports Insider says: This collaboration should provide added exposure to Jack Stack, whilst also having the potential to be a very tasteful endeavour for both parties online and offline. This isn’t the first meaty partnership in esports; Fnatic and beef jerky manufacturer Jack Link’s agreed on a multi-year partnership earlier this year.
