Another team will be using a stand-in during FLASHPOINT as Nikola “LEGIJA” Ninić jumps into the server in place of Kaleb “moose” Jayne. LEGIJA currently coaches the team but will have to play due to moose being unable to make it due to awaiting a visa.
moose has been a strong player for Envy and this will certainly leave the team needing the rest of the players to step up massively to give them a strong chance of performing.
LEGIJA has not been in action since August 2019 when he played as a stand-in for BIG in the GG.BET ESL One New York qualifier, having stepped down from the team officially back in February 2018.
Either way, it’s not the debut LAN outing this lineup was hoping to have to prove they were the real deal. An early exit from the tournament will leave the team wondering “what if?” for sure.
It’s still possible moose’s visa will get approved at some point during the event but nothing is for sure yet. VPEsports will stay up-to-date on the situation and cover it accordingly.
