Natus Vincere are down to two players and without a coach, after the organization decided to move Vladyslav “Crystallize” Krystanek, Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunovto and Nikita “young G” Bochko to an inactive status citing unsatisfactory results over the past months.
While the three players might return at some point from the bench, coach Andrey “Mag” Chipenko has left the team, the organization announced.

“We are certain that hard work pays off but this time, despite the given time and credit of trust of the club, unfortunately, it did not work out. I agree with the fans of the club, who want radical changes. Today we are starting to restructure the roster and we are looking for various opportunities and solutions,” commented Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov, NAVI COO. He also mentioned that the team will rotate trial players until they find the best possible option.
Lack of results is the main reason cited in the official announcement, however, the club also mentions that this time they will be looking for players that are motivated to give their all in the current online format adopted by all the Dota 2 tournament organizers, implying that the players who are now benched weren’t fully focused over the past months since everyone has been forced to play in online-only formats.
This marks NAVI’s third big roster change since the post TI9 shuffle. After moving Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev to inactive towards the end of 2019, to eventually let him go in April this year, the team has also parted ways with Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov, Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya and Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian over the past few months.
Despite being down to just two members, NAVI are one of the directly invited teams to ESL One Germany, tournament set to begin on the 5th of October. This gives the organization about three weeks to decide on a line-up that will go to trial by fire next month when they will fight against 15 other teams from Europe and CIS.
