Na’Vi withdraw from OGA Dota PIT Online

The OGA Dota PIT Online competition for Europe and CIS is set to kick off with the group stage matches this week on Wednesday, May 13. However, two days prior to the start, the team line-up suffered slight adjustment as Natus Vincere decided to forfeit their spot.

Na’Vi were one of the ten invited teams to the $150,000 tournament and were seeded in Group A along with Alliance, HellRaisers, OG and Vikin.gg. The organization hasn’t made any official announcement and none of the team members commented on the decision. The information was revealed on the tournament page on Liquipedia and according to the same source, FlyToMoon is to replace Na’Vi.

Over the last month, since the Dota 2 tournaments were forced to shift to online formats, Na’Vi struggled to stay afloat. They got eliminated in the group stage at ESL One Los Angeles Online and finished top eight at WePlay! Pushka League. The Pushka League loss came at the hands of Alliance in a game where Na’Vi were actually on the verge of victory. All it took was a critical mistake by Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian, who had a Divine Rapier on Medusa and got caught alone trying to take a Bounty rune. The game was received by the community as the biggest throw of the tournament and rumors say that Na’Vi might be looking to replace their mid lane player.
