Esports Entertainment Group has expanded its portfolio of traditional sports team partners, adding the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. Both teams will utilize EEG as their official esports tournament provider through a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Kraft Sports and Entertainment. EEG will utilize Patriots and Revolution branding, tickets, and player appearances to promote its Esports Gaming League platform and events.
EEG acquired the Esports Gaming League earlier this year for $5.5M USD. The company has also signed partnership deals with the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Union.
