OG are still unable to play with their full line-up, and although they reached the grand finals of ESL One Los Angeles Online with Neta “33” Shapira, he won’t be joining the TI champs for Pushka League.
By bringing in 33 at the recently concluded online league of ESL One, OG set new challenges for their adversaries but also for themselves. In one of his short interventions during the live streams of ESL One, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein said “we are touching new territories” when he was talking about how it is to draft with two offlane players on the roster and with Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan having to bounce between carry and mid lane positions. OG utilized 33’s Chen at maximum in the ESL One event and applied mental warfare on their adversaries as the hero was handled by 33 in all possible roles, carry, mid, support or offlane. Perhaps given the fact that they managed to dazzle everyone’s mind with the 33 Chen for nearly three weeks, OG decided to freshen things up and bring in a purebred mid lane player.
OG’s stand-in for WePlay! Pushka league is Irakli “W1sh-” Peranidze, a young mid lane player whose competitive career is just at the start. He played in the previous season for nearly half a year for Wind and Rain (WaR) and he got to attend with them the 2019 ESL One Hamburg edition as a replacement for Invictus Gaming, who withdrew from the tournament. In December 2019 the whole roster departed from the organization. W1sh is in the top 30 Immortal ranks on the European leaderboards and a feared Tinker player in the public matchmaking. If OG will craft their strategies around his most powerful hero or not, it remains to be seen at WePlay! Pushka League.
