Riot Games Brazil announced Friday that it has named Diego Martinez as the new general manager, filling the position left by Roberto Iervolino in August.
Since 2016 Martinez has served as Riot Games’ head of operations in Brazil, and will effectively begin in the new role in November. The company said that it will undergo a transition period in October.
The announcement comes on the same day that Riot announced the teams that will be part of the CBLoL (Brazilian Championship of League of Legends) franchise.
