UEFA Euro 2020 DLC coming free to PES on April 30 – Daily Esports

The eFootball PES 2020 Twitter page has confirmed that UEFA Euro 2020 downloadable content is soon coming to the game. The totally free DLC will drop on April 30 for all platforms, and an exclusive physical PS4 edition will be available for purchase.

UEFA Euro 2020 DLC

The DLC was announced at the very start of the release of eFootball PES 2020. Konami, the developer and publisher behind the video game, struck an exclusive deal with UEFA. This has ultimately made the newest iteration of their video game the official game of this year’s UEFA Euro tournament. However, up until now, the exact date of the DLC was unknown, only being narrowed down to the second quarter of 2020. April 30 is something people can hang their hats on though.

Konami struck a partnership with UEFA for PES to become the official video game of the tournament.

The upcoming free DLC contains the following:

  • UEFA EURO 2020 (Cup/Local Match)
  • Wembley Stadium
  • Saint Petersburg Stadium
  • Official Trophy
  • Official Match Ball
  • UEFA National Teams (55 countries)

Apart from adding the official trophy, stadiums, and match ball, the biggest selling point for this update are all the fully licensed teams participating in this year’s EURO cup. The update definitely gives an edge over PES’s all-time rival, FIFA, allowing football fanatics all over the world to simulate the immensely popular tournament in PES 2020.

          Limited-edition PS4 edition

Apart from the DLC, players on PS4 will be able to get a special physical cover edition of the game from certain retailers. While for most it will be nothing extraordinary, collectors may appreciate the gesture.
