Verizon announced Wednesday a multi-year partnership with the Prudential Center and the NHL team the New Jersey Devils, making it the “exclusive 5G and wireless partner” of both. In addition, Verizon will work with Dignitas to build out a “5G gaming center” within the esports organization’s East Coast studio adjacent to the Prudential Center.
The new deal with Dignitas follows a similar deal announced in January that saw Verizon help build out the organization’s West Coast training facility in Los Angeles.
Dignitas, the Prudential Center, and the New Jersey Devils are owned by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, who also owns the Philadelphia 76RS, New Meta Entertainment, and other sports, entertainment, and real estate operations.
