A new month is fast approaching and that can only mean one thing to players of Animal Crossing New Horizons – new creatures to catch.
But, it also means some bugs, fish and critters will also be leaving the game, too.
Such is the seasonal nature of Animal Crossing after all.
It's worth mentioning as well that with Nintendo previously promising a second Summer update, it's possible yet more changes could be afoot.
That second update doesn't have a release date just yet, but its expected to arrive "early August".
The end of the Summer update trailer showed fireworks, so we imagine it will be lots of fun all the same.
For now, lets focus on those all-important fish leaving at the end of July, which means players have less than 5 days to go before the big change takes place.
Fish Leaving Animal Crossing New Horizons in August
Thankfully for players, the changes coming to the games fish in August are relatively minimal.
At the start of August, there is only one fish leaving Animal Crossing New Horizons in the northern hemisphere..
That fish is the Tadpole, which is only available to catch from March through to July.
This is the only change in the Northern Hemisphere and means that you should be able to catch everything available in July, bar the tadpole.
In the southern hemisphere, it's even less to worry about, as there are no fish, currently available, which will be leaving at the beginning of August.
