As part of its “More Fun For Everyone – At Home” initiative, Bandai Namco is giving out a free copy of Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. All you’ll need to do is navigate to your storefront of choice and download the game to start playing. The offer will be available until May 10, 2020.
Curiously, the updated Switch port (titled Champion Edition 2 Plus) is not being offered for free. Still, the gesture is very much appreciated during these troubling times. With the coronavirus still spreading and America’s president suggesting completely idiotic cures on television, we could be in for a long wait before society returns back to normal.
Championship Edition 2 isn’t necessarily the best game to use the Pac-Man name, but you can’t complain about free. Being released a few years ago, the title went in a different direction than its two direct predecessors, Championship Edition and Championship Edition DX. This one features an adventure mode with giant boss fights and such.
