Borderlands 3 Offering Legendary Weapons During Golden Path Mini-Event

From today until December 3, a new event in Borderlands is making it easy to earn Legendary Weapons. The so-called Golden Path Mini-Event guarantees Legendary rewards for completing certain main quests – just work your way through the story and you’ll be gifted with powerful new gear.

The event includes weapons such as the Lyuda Legendary Vladof Sniper Rifle, Handsome Jackhammer Legendary Hyperion SMG, Nemesis Legendary Dahl Pistol, and the Hellwalker Legendary Jakobs Shotgun, among others. The mini-event is only available for select quests in the main storyline, and no optional side quests or DLC content will see the gear buff.

Borderlands 3 just released The Designer’s Cut, and it looks like this mini-event is a good way for you to power-level a new character and try out skills and abilities introduced in the DLC. A massive next-gen update was also made available on PS5 and Series X, letting you experience the Borderlands universe in 4K and up to 60fps. If you opt for “Performance Mode,” that number jumps to a whooping 120fps.

Borderlands 3’s Golden Path Mini-Event is available until December 3. If you’ve been interested in rolling a new character – but afraid of the time-consuming grind – now is your perfect chance to test out another Vault Hunter.
