Another weekly update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare is expected to arrive in the coming days across all platforms. And based on recent weeks, there’s a good chance of the new patch hitting servers on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. There’s been plenty of Playlist changes made so this next patch might focus more on bug fixes, one of which has been catching the eye of gamers in COD Warzone.
As reported earlier this year, Call of Duty fans have noticed issues with the Ghost perk when reviewing kill cams.
This includes seeing blips appearing on them before being taken down, leading some to believe the perk is not working.
Infinity Ward has provided feedback on the situation, telling fans that Ghost is functioning but an issue with the kill cam could make you think differently.
A message from the development team adds: “Ghost not protecting against Heartbeat Sensor – This is working as intended but showing incorrectly in the killcams. A fix for the killcam is coming in a future update.”
It should be noted that no fixed release date has been set for this fix so fans will need to keep an eye out for it in the next round of patch notes.

If the next Call of Duty update is a small patch, Activision may choose to release its latest COD changes at around 6pm, GMT.
However, the larger the update, the more likely Activision will look to release it at a quieter time, meaning it will be more likely to arrive at around 7am GMT, the following morning.
Fans are also waiting to find out if Call of Duty Warzone Duos will be arriving soon on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The most recent update on the situation is that work is still being done on the popular Battle Royale variant.
So it remains a maybe whether it will be ready before the end of Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4.
A news blog is usually shared by Infinity Ward in the lead up to its weekly update, so we should find out more about what is being planned soon.
The most recent Playlist update went live a few days ago, replacing BR Solos with something called BR: Stimulus Solos.
This new mode variant removes the Gulag and instead makes it possible for players to return to the match with the right cash amount.
Players will start with around $4500 on them and will need to carry on collecting it to guarantee they can drop back into the game multiple times.
It should also be noted that you drop half your cash every time you die and respawning ends heading into the penultimate circle.
Activision also brought back the Helicopter, making it possible once again to fly across the map together as a team.
