Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris is kicking off today on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and it won’t be long until we find out what loot is coming our way. The event will be launching on May 29, and this week’s rewards will be some of the last of the current season. While we won’t get to find out directly from Bungie what the official rewards list is for Trials of Osiris, map news will be confirmed as soon as everything goes online. Bungie has been focusing on the future of Destiny 2, and it looks like big news is coming in June.
A message from Bungie teases: “Development of Destiny 2 continues, only we are all working from the safety of our homes. We have exciting news to share with you about our plans, but it won’t happen at some fancy convention under hot lights. Instead, we’ll use the Internet.
“If you are familiar with the rituals and cycles that mark a year in the life of a Guardian, you must be curious as to when we’ll begin a conversation about what is next.
“We can’t put a date on that just yet, but we will very soon. That’s a promise. We know you’re hungry for that news and we’re just as eager to deliver it.
“Keep your eyes trained on @Bungie for updates. We’ll stream our announcements in the usual places. You’ll learn about the next Season of Destiny 2 at the same time that we talk about the next chapter in this story that has been unfolding all year long.”
Another message from production director Justin Truman added more on the upcoming news, telling fans:

- Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards and loot this week with map update
“We’re committed to this game, to staying transparent about our plans, and to this relationship we have with our community.
“The reasons we started on this journey 10 years ago haven’t changed. We’re committed to building a world anyone can be a part of, where everyone can feel powerful, and where you might reconnect with old friends or make some new ones.
“So we look forward to continuing this conversation, and continuing to evolve Destiny together. And in 12 days, we can’t wait to show you more of what we’ve been working on.”
Meanwhile, Trials of Osiris will be the main draw for Destiny 2 players this week, with loot coming to those who can win.
The development team will be releasing the 3v3 Crucible playlist at around 6pm GMT on May 28, 2020, and returning players will want to visit Saint-14 soon after, who will be located in the Tower Hangar.
The Osiris reset offers a new inventory of Trials Passages, Bounties, and the option to turn in Trials Tokens.
A different map and a fresh set of rewards will be available to Guardians today if they meet the requirements of the 960 Power rating needed to buy Passages.
As ever, Trials fans will earn exclusive rewards by defeating other teams of three, while hoping to gain entry to the Lighthouse.
But gamers will have to wait until Trials of Osiris launches to find out exactly what loot will be available and what map will be featured.
This mode will be available until Tuesday, June 2 and will end before the weekly reset has been completed.
