Blizzard has confirmed its plans for the launch of Diablo 3 Season 20 across all platforms. New seasonal rewards and Legendary items have been promised, and that should give fans plenty of reasons to jump back in. The good news is that everyone will be getting access to D3 Season 20 at roughly the same time. The downside is that some platforms will be waiting longer than others, and this will mean some players are getting a heads start.
WHEN IS THE DIABLO 3 SEASON 20 START TIME ON PC?
According to Blizzard, Diablo 3 Season 20 will begin on Friday, March 13, for PC players using Battle Net.
The game will have a unified start time, meaning that whatever timezone you are in, the schedule should be the same.
This will mean D3 Season 20 starting at 5pm, GMT, PT and KST, on the same day, March 13.
This has been the formula used by Blizzard for some time and it doesn’t look like it will be changing anytime soon.
However, with that in mind, we also know that things will be different for Diablo 3 fans on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

WHEN IS THE DIABLO 3 START TIME ON CONSOLES?
Blizzard has also confirmed its official plans to launch Diablo 3 on consoles on March 13, 2020.
The difference here is that the D3 Season 20 start time has been set for 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, regardless of which regional version of the game you may have.
It should also be noted that Seasonal Leaderboards for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch are still separated by hardware platform.
Due to the timing begin employed by Blizzard, it means that Diablo 3 Season 20 won’t technically start in Europe until Saturday, March 14.
Even with taking in the changes to Daylight Savings, the new seasonal update won’t be going live until midnight on March 14, in the UK.
Blizzard has also provided details on how long the new season will last, while also confirming plans for when the non-Seasonal Leaderboards will be wiped.
Blizzard says they no longer provide anticipated end dates for Seasons, and are instead committed to having them run for around three months at a time.
However, they also warn that this can change by up to a few weeks based on development needs, making it hard to predict the end of Season 20.
The best guess we have right now is that Diablo 3 Season 20 will remain playable until June 2020.
The good news is that Blizzard will provide a minimum of two weeks advance notice for when the Season will be ending.
Commenting on Leaderboard wipes and old seasonal records being scrubbed, Blizzard told fans this week:
“Non-Seasonal Leaderboards are tied to what we call “Eras,” each of which lasts about 6–12 months.
“The most recent era began November 12; the Era will be reset with the release of Patch 2.6.8.
“Starting with Season 10, we removed old personal bests from Season 1. When Season 20 arrives, we will remove old personal bests from Season 10, and so on.
“We will be doing the same for personal bests from the previous Era when the next one goes live.”
