Once again, Dragalia Lost is doing a crossover event with Fire Emblem: Heroes. The upcoming event was announced during Dragalia Lost’s 1.5-Year Anniversary Dragalia Digest, which was released on YouTube.
First, it was announced that the previous crossover event, Fire Emblem: Lost Heroes, would be repeated on April 19. The event originally ran in April 2019, and brought Fjorm, Loki, Marth, And Veronica to the game. Repeating the event will allow players who originally missed it to have the chance to get their hands on the famous Fire Emblem characters.
After the announcement of the repeated event, Dragalia Lost director Yuji Okada announced that there would be another, new crossover event involving Fire Emblem that will take place at the end of April, though there wasn’t much information on what this new event would entail.
“I’ll be able to share more details osn this soon, so you’ll have to wait just a little longer for more,” Okada said in the digest.
Dragalia Lost was a bit of a risk when Nintendo released it onto mobile devices back in 2018. It was a brand new IP, so it didn’t have the draw of other mobile games such as Mario Kart Tour or Fire Emblem Heroes. While it’s performed respectably, it hasn’t been the most-successful game Nintendo has released, so it makes sense that they’d try to attract fans from Nintendo’s more-successful mobile games.
