A reliable insider has claimed that Fortnite and Dead by Daylight are going to be collaborating with one another.
There are no two online games out there that love a crossover quite as much as Fortnite and Dead by Daylight, both regularly teaming up with big brands to bring new characters, items, and outfits to their games. A new rumour has suggested that the two are going to take it to the next level and crossover with one another, bringing a survivor to Fortnite and an exclusive charm to Dead by Daylight.
This rumour comes courtesy of reliable Fortnite insider ShiinaBR, who regularly reports on Fortnite leaks. They shared the rumours earlier today, saying, "RUMOUR: A Fortnite X Dead by Daylight collaboration might happen soon! According to an anonymous source that has sent me this image and some other proof a few days ago, we could get a "Llama" charm in DBD, and a "Meg Thomas" skin in Fortnite!"
The Tweet also contained two images, one of Dead by Daylight survivor Meg Thomas, and another of a Loot Llama. Although the picture of Meg Thomas seems to just be one from Dead by Daylight, the Loot Llama image looks to be some kind of design document, as it has the Dead by Daylight logo in the top left and has notes surrounding the image and mentions of a "contract".
The Loot Llama page also says "Method resulting in award may be determined upon declaration", which seems to imply that the way of obtaining the charm hadn't been decided when this image was released. Combine that with the "contract" mention, and it seems that this is some sort of pitch between the two companies.
One piece of evidence that seems to back up this collaboration is the recent survey that Epic sent to Fortnite players asking them what characters they'd like to see out of a large list. As pointed out on Twitter, the survey mentions a few Dead by Daylight characters, namely Vince and David. This seems to imply that the crossover could go further in the future, although ShiinaBR only mentions Meg Thomas.
