The second part of Genshin Impact's 2022 Summer Event has been released. It has brought along a brand-new quest where we embark on a journey to visit Kaedehara Kazuha's memories, and a new part of the event called Misty Hills, Foggy Vales. In this part, we start noticing some incredibly unique changes in the Golden Apple Archipelago.

'As The Courtyard In Spring Once Appeared' is the second event quest that you'll need to finish before getting access to this event. This quest, in itself, is a challenge. But, once you've beaten it, you can take part in the Misty Hills, Foggy Vales which will take you to Pudding Isle.

How To Beat Misty Hills, Foggy Vales

To access this event, simply head over to the Event Tab from the top of your screen and click on Event Details in Summertime Odyssey event. Here, you'll see the bubble for Misty Hills, Foggy Vales on the top-right. Click on it, and you'll be taken to the event's main screen.

Next, click on 'Go To Challenge' in the bottom-left part of your screen. If you don't see this, you will have to finish the pre-requisite quest 'As The Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared' first. Once you click the button, you'll be guided to the area you need to be for the event. Teleport to it and find the Bonsai sitting on a rock.

When you get close to it, you will be able to see two options. The first one, where you can Rearrange Bonsai, basically lets you change how the main island in front of you looks. You can have various different configurations for the same. And below it, you will see the option to access the event itself.

Once you click on the event button, you will see the challenges in the event called Phantom Realms and Phantom Tales. The tales are basically the domains in the main quests, which you can revisit in case you missed an Imaging Conch or some chests. The puzzles won't reset, but you can look for the things you missed here.

Phantom Realms is the main part of this event, as this is what you need to clear for getting the event rewards. First, you will need to enter the Initial Exploration domain. It is recommended to use a compatible team that has strong characters that synergize with each other, as this domain isn't easy.

On the main screen, you can see the enemy lineup you'll be facing, which includes Samurai, Nobushi, Kairagi, Fatui Skirmisher, Ruin Guard, Ruin Grader, and finally Primo Geovishap. As you can see, these aren't entirely easy enemies. If you let your guard down, you can fail in this domain.

Once you enter the domain, you'll see a familiar platform with a huge red key in the middle where you can start the challenge for this platform. There is a new ability called Flowing Leafslasher. It can be used to deal a huge amount of damage to the enemies within a certain AoE. Once used, this skill goes into a cooldown.

The cooldown can be decreased using the Elemental Skills and Bursts of your characters. Apart from that, whenever you start a battle, sometimes there will be random leaves on the platform. These are of three colors, Blue, Red, and Gold.

The blue one increases the height to which you jump and whenever you perform a Plunging Attack with this leaf active, the CD of Flowing Leafslasher decreases (Xiao mains unite). This effect lasts for 12 seconds after acquiring the leaf.

The Red leaf increases your DMG by 30 percent, and the Gold one decreases your Elemental Skill and Burst CD by 20 percent. Both of these have a buff-timer of eight seconds.

Once you finish a certain challenge, the path to the next one opens, and you have to keep repeating this until you reach the final platform. Here, you will face all the enemies mentioned above including the Primo Geovishap at last. To beat the domain, you have to defeat this boss.

After completing the Initial Exploration for the first time, Direct Strike will unlock on the event page. Through this, you can go directly to the final platform and fight the enemies three times to acquire all the rewards in this part of the event.

Misty Hills, Foggy Vales Rewards

This second part of the event also gives players a bunch of rewards just like the first one. Apart from the rewards from the main quest itself, you can finish the above domain a certain amount of times while also executing certain challenges to acquire all the rewards.

To get the main rewards in this event, which consist of a total of 60 Primogems, 40,000 Mora, and four Hero's Wits, you simply have to finish either Initial Exploration or Direct Strike a total of three times. If you use the new ability as much as you can throughout your runs, you will automatically finish the other challenges giving you another 40,000 Mora and eight Mystic Enhancement Ores.

Finally, for the first three times that you beat the domain, you will get 200 Iridescent Flotsam each for a total of 600. These can be exchanged for a plethora of goodies in the Event Shop on the main event screen. This is also the currency that you will use to invite Fischl to your party.
