Kirby and the Forgotten Land will have you adventuring across many different areas to try and rescue captured Waddle Dees. Although most can be found by finishing levels, a good number of them are hidden behind secret objectives.

Although the Forgotten Land will tell you what you have to do for a few of the secret objectives, it won't tell you all of them. Instead, you need to complete some of the secret objectives to be told about the rest, which can be difficult when some are so vague. Don't worry though, we've managed to find and complete them all in each of Everbay Coast's levels.

Crack open 3 Knock-Knock nuts This is the first level where you’ll run into Knock-Knock Nuts. They’re brown nuts that can be hit several times to open them up and reveal some health items inside. The first is found right near the start of the level next to a palm tree. The second can be found right before the first warp star. The final one can be found in the right-hand side body of water right at the end of the level. 1
Destroy the animal sand sculpture Right near the end of the second section, you’ll see a star door. Instead of going through it, go to the right to find this animal sand sculpture. Break it for a Waddle Dee. 1
Complete the sign on the rooftop The final section of the level will let you use Ring Mouth Kirby for the first time, using the letter “O” from a sign. Simply absorb the O and then walk down a little to complete the sign. This is a tough one without being told what to do! 1

Greet 3 sea birds As you go through Concrete Isles, you'll come across several sea birds. Simply go up to them to "greet" them and scare them off. The first is a seagull right as you start the level. The second can be found shortly after you unlock the Drill power for the first time, just a bit ahead in the water. The third and final sea bird can be found right next to the first warp star in the level. 1
Make landfall on the isle of treasure Right before you use the warp star located at the halfway point of the level, jump over the barrier to swim towards an island in the distance. Not only will you find a hidden Waddle Dee here, but you'll also get this secret objective. 1
Dig up a Maxim Tomato You'll find the Maxim Tomato right at the end of the level and can dig it up using the Drill Copy Ability. 1

Remove 3 wanted posters As you move through the level, you'll see badly-drawn posters of Kirby up on the walls, which you'll need to attack to remove. The first one is found after you climb the ladder right at the start of the level. The second is found when moving up the tower after defeating Fleurina. The final one is found right at the end of the level. 1
Avoid the spikes in the secret room Near the second wanted poster of the level, you can head South to find the level's secret room. In it, you need to use Tornado to hit buttons, which you'll need to do without getting hit by the spikes to unlock this objective. 1
Freeze Fleurina with an Ice ability Once you've used the first warp star in the level, you'll fight Fleurina to unlock the Tornado Copy Ability. There will be an Ice Copy Ability before the fight which you want to use to beat Fleurina. Simply keep hitting her with it to freeze her. 1

Fast-Flowing Waterworks

Eat 3 tins of Fish As you go through the level, you can find tins of fish to eat. The first can be found right before the first star door by touching the sparkle in the right corner to make it appear. The second can be found behind a pile of flaming logs in the third section of the level. The final tin of fish is found next to a whirlpool in the fourth part of the level. 1
Win the battle without falling into the water After going through the first star door, you'll climb a ladder and get stuck in an arena filled with common enemies. Defeat them all without going in the water to get this objective. To do this, it's best to use some kind of ranged Copy Ability. 1
Find the golden fish The golden fish can be found in the third section of the level. Right before you see the first set of stairs, the golden fish will be sat in the water right before it. 1

The Tropical Terror

Objective How To Complete Waddle Dee Reward
Clear the stage Simply clear the stage. 3
Destroy Tropic Woods' Roots One of Tropic Woods' attacks has them pulling up roots from the ground. Although you usually want to avoid this attack altogether, if you attack it then you'll break the root and get this secret objective. 1
Clear without using a Copy Ability This may sound difficult, but enter the level without a Copy Ability and then just inhale and shoot out the stars that show up when Tropic Woods attacks. 1
Clear within 2:00 This is relatively simple and just requires you to beat the boss within two minutes. We'd recommend coming back with stronger Copy Abilities for this one. 1
Clear without taking damage As we recommended for the last boss fight, the best method here is to equip the Space Ranger Copy Ability and shoot from afar for the whole battle. The most dangerous attack to look out for here is the root attacks, but it's telegraphed pretty obviously. 1
