Terminal – MWII (2009)
This medium sized multiplayer map is full of luggage and bars – your classic airport layout. BUT remember, the plane is the safest place to be as it is well protected from any airborne threat.
The security checkpoints and barricades give the map a maze-like feel, and alongside the indoor areas it makes for a well balanced map for close combat and medium range with the different areas indoors and outdoors.
Terminal caters to pretty much every weapon, killstreak and playstyle – putting it up there as a classic fan favourite.
Crash – MWI (2007)
Crash is a relatively small multiplayer map with some great sniping spots, due to the variety of elevation between the large open spaces and high rooftops.
There are plenty of dark areas, blind corners, and narrow corridors which encourages players to camp and provides the option for both a fast faced Free-For-All in addition to team games.
If you’re looking to play a classic MW map – look no further and brush up your skills on Crash.
Mercardo Las Almas – MWII (2022)
A brand-new entry into the list is Mercardo Las Almas – with hallways, stalls and stairs to scope out and get vital kills, with enemies swarming and shotguns spraying, this map makes for a fast-paced and high-scoring game.
The map makes it harder for players to camp and encourages constant movement, allowing for an attack-based approach.
It was a fan-favourite following the Beta launch and looks set to throw up some incredible games post-launch.
Shoothouse – MWII (2019)
This already small map divides up into distinct sections and forces tight combat around scattered cover, whether you’re fighting around shipping crates or junkyard automobiles.
The map has a three lane structure ensures play is tactical and makes for frequent engagements.

Rust – MWII (2009)
Getting to the high ground is always a recipe for success on Rust – and while looking through the sandstorm to the outside of this very small battlefield you will see palm trees, large desert rocks and the plane from Crash!
Make sure you head to the tower at the centre of the map as it gives you an ace view of the entire battleground.
This fan favourite was also where 1v1 trickshotting was born – enjoy!
Shipment – MWI (2007)
Last but not least. Based near the main port of Verdans, Shipment is renowned for some of the fastest gun fights in the whole franchise.
Compared to other maps, Shipment is very compact and s such, spawn points of both teams can go anywhere even if there are enemy players present in the immediate vicinity.
It’s a beautiful chaos with LOTS going on – so make sure you’re quick and nimble.
