PS Now is adding some huge games this month, as Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3, and The Long Dark are all arriving on April 6. Borderlands 3 will remain on PS Now until September 29, with Avengers disappearing much earlier on July 5.
Marvel’s Avengers has had a difficult time finding and retaining players, although its inclusion in PlayStation’s subscription service might help it rope in a few more would-be superheroes.
Meanwhile, Borderlands 3 continues to be as popular as ever. Its upcoming Director’s Cut DLC drops later this week, introducing a new murder mystery questline and a challenging new raid boss.
The Long Dark might not be as well-known as the other two on the list, but was well-reviewed when it first launched in 2014. The first-person survival title does not have an expiration date, so you might want to give Borderlands 3 and Marvel’s Avengers a play before diving into this tense survival game.
Here’s a bit more about the three games coming to PS Now on April 6:
Borderlands 3
Featuring guns, guns, and more guns, Borderlands 3 sees you diving into yet another loot-driven FPS experience. Along the way, you’ll chat with the adorably annoying Claptrap, build up an arsenal of powerful weapons, and shoot down hordes of enemies. Playable as either a solo or co-op adventure, Borderlands 3 is likely to be a popular addition to the PS Now roster.
Marvel’s Avengers
Marvel’s Avengers is a third-person action-adventure game that is cut from the same cloth as Borderlands. Grinding for better loot will take up most of your playtime – although the fun is best experienced with a few friends by your side. The game has added a few new characters since launch, with Black Panther expected to join later this year.
The Long Dark
This solo survival game will see you struggling through the frozen aftermath of a global disaster. You won’t find any zombies here, just challenging weather and the usual assortment of terrifying natural threats.
PS Now is offering a free trial of the service starting on April 7.
