Pokemon Legends: Arceus – How To Get Ursaluna

One of the many surprises that Pokemon Legends: Arceus brings to the table are the various Hisuian forms you can find across the game. From changes in typing to new attack moves and even new evolutionary forms, this new step in evolution will affect some of the classic pokemon you already know, which developed differently after living in the region of Hisui for a long time.

Within the many pokemon affected by this, you can find be the beloved Johto-based bears Teddiursa and Ursaring. In this game, they will receive an update in the form of a new evolution, called Ursaluna, a massive Ground/Normal pokemon that will show up as a ride pokemon, and you can catch it as a team member as well.

How To Get Teddiursa And Ursaring

To get the Johto region beloved bear Teddiursa, you must go to the following zones to find it as a wild pokemon:

  • Crimson Mirelands
    • Ursa's Ring
  • Coronet Highlands
    • Soronous Path
    • If you want to evolve it to its grown-up form Ursaring, you must level it up to level 30, after which the evolution sequence will be available to trigger. Alternatively, you can find Ursaring as a wild or alpha pokemon in the following areas:

      • Crimson Mirelands
        • Ursa's Ring
      • Coronet Highlands
        • Soronous Path
        • How To Get Ursaluna

Once you have an Ursaring, you now must get your ride pokemon Ursaluna, and travel to the Scarlet Bog in the Crimson Mirelands to search for treasures, until you find a buried item called the Peat Block. This is the only way you can find this item, and once you obtain it you must wait until the next full moon phase. Wait until nightfall to see the current moon phase, and sleep in a tent, or just wait until the following night for the next moon phase. When you reach the correct one, you will be able to use the Peat Block on Ursaring and successfully evolve it into Ursaluna, a Ground/Normal pokemon that will gain access to powerful attacks such as High Horsepower or Headlong Rush.
