Sony will announce its PS Plus April 2021 lineup of free games soon, but PS4 and PS5 console owners have been warned other deals will be ending soon.
This year has already seen the tech giant release a number of top free games as part of PlayStation Plus, which is an essential part of Sony’s plans.
Not only does PS Plus advertise Sony’s solid lineup of games, but it’s also a way to entice gamers to buy a PlayStation console.
It’s latest offering includes Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which is just the latest in a long line of top exclusives to be included.
And it won’t be long before Sony announces its plans for PS Plus during April 2021, complete with the latest free games.
We already know that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be included in the lineup, providing a cracking new game to play on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Assuming Sony doesn’t break with tradition, the April 2021 PlayStation Plus games will be unveiled at 4.30pm GMT on March 31.
The free PS5 and PS4 games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of April 6.
On the plus side, the delayed-release date gives subscribers more time to pick up the PS Plus games for March.
And for those who have recently purchased a console, there is something else to know about.
Final Fantasy VII Remake: Playstation release brand new trailer
Sony has warned that its latest PlayStation Plus deal will be disappearing this week, meaning anyone who wants to grab the new April games will want to check it out.
For those without an active PS Plus subscription, you can grab a 12-month bundle from the PlayStation Store for £49.99.
What makes this deal a little different from others is that it also comes with some extra cash to spend on the PS Store.
By signing up for 12-months, you also get an extra £12.50/$15.00 in PS Store credit to spend on something else.
This isn’t a deal that can be tagged onto an existing membership, but it’s still a cracking deal for someone thinking about signing up again, or has just bought a console.
It comes with a big warning from Sony though and gamers will need to move fast to get the deal before it runs out.
According to the tech giant, this latest PS Plus deal will only be available until Tuesday, March 23, with the official listing on the PlayStation site explaining:
“Offer valid from 18 March 10:00 GMT to 23 March 10:00 GMT. PS Plus 12 month membership is an ongoing subscription and will be billed annually at the then current PS Store price, until cancelled.
“Account for PlayStation Network (PSN) required. Subscribers must be over 7 years old, under 18s require parental consent, except in Germany where subscribers must be over 18 years or older.”
So to make sure you’re in line to get the latest free games and a little extra from Sony, you will need to act quickly and sign up to the latest PS Plus deal.
