More PS5 stock is reportedly coming to GAM this week following on from one of the biggest PlayStation restock events of the month.

Console hunters recently got their best chance at buying a next-gen gaming machine for a long time, and it appears that more is being planned for September.

GAME will be restocking the PS5 this coming week and dropping its latest shipment very soon from what has been shared.

And if this proves correct, it will mean a quick turnaround from the retailer, following on from it dropping thousands of consoles last week.

If anything arrives as predicted, between September 21 and September 23 will be your best chance at buying a PS5 this week.

The news has been shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – which is known for providing the best guides on what’s happening next.

The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “The release date for the bundle listings on GAME’s site has been updated to 30/09/21, indicating an online restock between 21st-23rd September.”

There is even a link available to view the upcoming PS5 bundles, which includes multiple choices.

There is the option to buy just the console, but that is expected to sell out the fastest.

Meanwhile, there are tons of other combinations, some of which include games and other items.

PS5: Sony unveil pricing for PlayStation 5 console

The most expensive PS5 bundle that will be available to buy retails at just under 700 and includes a PS5 console, a T-Shirt, a Baseball Cap, a copy of Ratchet & Clank, an extra Black controller and a gaming headset.

Currys was one of the most recent UK retailers to offer a PS5 stock drop this week, although this was not distributed online.

Instead, Currys offer VIP Codes that make it possible to claim a PlayStation 5 console from a store.

It means heading into your local Currys and finding out when you can next get a console, which could mean waiting a few weeks to pick it up.

Meanwhile, Amazon has been linked to a number of stock drops this month that have yet to materialise.

A while there is no sure date for when the next one will happen, PS5 Stock UK believes it’s possibly arriving soon, telling its followers:

“Unfortunately, no one knows what’s the reason behind Amazon not going live with PlayStation 5 consoles the past month or so.

“Usually, they restock on Tuesday or Wednesday, which have passed now, so sadly we’re looking at next week once again.”

Knowing when a PS5 restock is happening can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles its shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and being unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the mobile Argos app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock is expected around September 23.

AMAZON UK: Amazon UK runs better under strain but still comes with a few kinks worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. More stock is expected in September but no solid dates have been confirmed.
