PSN Down: PS4 server status latest follow Sony PlayStation outage

PSN servers are reportedly down for PS4 gamers in the United States and the UK.

Problems started around 2am in the UK and appear to be affecting the PSN platform.

It appears that while some PS4 gamers are having issues connecting to game servers, others are able to join multiplayer titles.

Others are having issues with connecting to Parties and joining Chat sessions. For now, Sony has not shared any news regarding the server issues but an update is expected if the issues continue.

“I’m online but friends see me as offline and I can’t join any online games,” One gamer adds.

“So I can see game news, my friend list, PSN store, and who is playing what but there is still a little red x next to my name? I play video games to avoid mix signals,” another explains.

Currently, the PSN server status site currently includes this warning message: “You may experience somewhat slower or delayed game downloads because we’re working with ISPs to manage download traffic.

“We believe it’s important to do our part to address internet stability concerns as an unprecedented number of people are staying home and practicing social distancing. We appreciate the support and understanding from our community.”
