Red Dead Redemption 2 rolled out a brand new Red Dead Online update this week, introducing the new Moonshiners update and role.
The new download added a whole lot of new content, missions and more to the game, but there was one more addition in the form of a new gun.
The Navy Revolver was added with the Moonshiners update and based on the famous 1851 Colt Navy Revolver.
Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue's description of the gun reads:
"Behold this .36 caliber single action Revolver capable of sending a ball of hot lead at an astounding velocity of 1,000 feet per second.
"There exists no mammal nor revenue agent capable of outrunning its mortiferous efficacy, and we encourage you to prove otherwise."
You can, if you so decide, buy the Navy Revolver from the gunsmith, however, it ain't cheap, costing $275.
However, there is a way to get the Navy Revolver for free. Here's what you need to know.
First up, you want to make sure your Rockstar Social Club Account is linked with both Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V for this to work.
From here you need to complete the GTA Online Los Santos Slash secret mission. If you follow the link you'll find everything you need to know to earn your free special variant of the Navy Revolver.
Assuming you've done everything you need to do in GTA Online, here's how to find Lowry’s Revolver.
You'll want to head towards Valentine and find the den of the serial killer, which can be found in the form of an underground basement shelter.
We've added a map below to show where you need to head to in the game.
Head into the den and you'll find Lowry’s Revolver, a unique variant of Navy Revolver.
For those interested the gun is named after the serial killer Edmund Lowry Jr from the Stranger mission "American Dreams" in Red Dead Redemption 2.
