Red Dead Redemption 2 Update 1.19 has been released for PS4, Xbox One and PC this morning.
The new update is unplanned and is actually quite a sizeable update to the game.
From checking online it appears that patch 1.19 is About 700 MB on PC, about 600 MB on PS4 and a whopping 3GB on Xbox One.
Official patch notes have not been shared just yet, but we would imagine that the bulk of changes and additions are for Red Dead Online, the games online only component.
Early reports also suggest that the update introduces 'more improvements to animal spawns'.
That news comes via trusted Rockstar Games source TezFunz2, who in turn got his info via @GTAmen. (Thanks to both).
Other online reports also indicate that the patch notes showing with the update state that the 1.19 update simply does what most updates do.
That's right, it's another “General stability fixes and improvements" update.
Still, it does still seem rather large for an update solely to improve animal spawns and bus fixes.
So stay tuned, there could be some good leaks forthcoming. Well, we hope.
More news to follow. We’ll update this story as soon as we find out more.
