- Thieves Guild Ceremony
- Rewards For Completing Under New Management
After completing the main storyline for the Thieves Guild in Skyrim, you will get the opportunity to become their new leader. In this quest, you will attend a special ceremony and become the Guild Master. Beginning this quest can be a bit confusing because there are a few prerequisite quests that can be hard to find.
In this guide, we are going to go over how to complete Under New Management, as well as what you need to complete beforehand. If you have yet to complete the main questline for the Thieves Guild, you will need to head to Riften and speak with Brynjolf.
Prerequisites To Complete
As mentioned above, Under New Management can only be accepted after completing several quests. Below, you can see each quest that needs to be completed.
Thieves Guild Main Questline
To become the leader of the Thieves Guild, you will need to complete the main story, consisting of the following quests.
|Quest Name||NPC To Speak With|
|A Chance Arrangement||Brynjolf
|Taking Care of Business||Brynjolf
|Loud and Clear||Brynjolf
|Dampening Spirits||Maven Black-Briar
|Scoundrel's Folly||Mercer Frey
|Speaking With Silence||Mercer Frey
|Blindsighted||Karliah and Brynjolf
Every one of these quests will lead into the next, so once you initially meet Brynjolf of the Thieves Guild, you will be able to make it through this questline in no time.
Jobs For Delvin Mallory
In addition to completing the quests listed above, you will need to complete four separate side-quests, which can be found below as well.
|Quest||Requirements to Accpet||NPC To Speak With|
|Imitation Amnesty||Complete 5 small jobs for Delvin or Vex in Whiterun||
|Silver Lining||Complete 5 small jobs for Delvin or Vex in Markarth||
|Summerset Shadows||Complete 5 small jobs for Delvin or Vex in Windhelm||
|The Dainty Sload||Complete 5 small jobs for Delvin or Vex in Solitude||
You will need to complete the above quests to restore the Guild's influence over all of Skyrim. Small jobs are essentially small tasks that can quickly be completed.
The jobs that Delvin and Vex give are generated randomly within the city that they are in. These small jobs require you to locate a target item and bring it back to either Delvin or Vex. Since these are short and simple, you should be able to quickly finish all five small jobs. Once completed, you can begin Under New Management by speaking to Brynjolf.
Thieves Guild Ceremony
Now that you have completed the main storyline, as well as the quests given by Delvin Mallory, speak with Brynjolf to become the leader of the guild.
Upon speaking with him, a small ceremony will take place, and you will become the Guild Master.
