Call of Duty: Warzone 2 devs must be hoping for at least one day where a new crack isn't found in their already broken game. The problem with Warzone 2 isn't just that it has a lot of bugs and glitches, but there are a number of exploits that players have been using to mess with the gameplay balance. The latest crack comes in the form of two of the game's best Field Upgrades running on an infinite loop, turning players into absolute juggernauts or silent killers. Infinity Ward has decided to disable both of them until they're fixed.
The first of these Field Upgrades is Battle Rage, which regenerates your health at a highly increased rate, makes you resistant to Tactical Equipment, and gives you infinite sprint. This is preferred by run-and-gun players, who love to rush into situations, shoot first, and ask questions later. This Upgrade on a loop would mean that you'd essentially be unstoppable, and could even run up to an enemy and punch them dead.
The next one is Dead Silence, which essentially makes your footsteps inaudible for a short time. However, killing someone refreshes the timer. Having this on an infinite loop turns you into a ninja, capable of sneaking behind enemy lines and picking them off one at a time. What's more, the glitch stays active in the Gulag as well, where Field Upgrades are supposed to be nullified.
"Battle Rage and Dead Silence have been removed while we investigate an issue," noted an update on the Warzone 2.0 Trello board (thanks PCGamesN). Considering that these are two of the best and strongest Field Upgrades, players aren't happy with the fact that the devs have completely removed them instead of just fixing it. What these players aren't considering is that even if one player gets one of these glitched Field Upgrades, their chances of winning the match skyrocket, leaving it highly unbalanced.
This way, the devs can take the time needed to craft a proper fix for the issue, while players continue enjoying a relatively balanced game – in theory, of course. You'll just have to use some other Field Upgrades for now.
