Watch Dogs: Legion’s Online Multiplayer Mode Launching March 9

After being postponed into 2021, the long-awaited Watch Dogs: Legion multiplayer mode will finally be available on March 9. The content was previously delayed as Ubisoft worked to fix bugs with the single-player campaign.

Watch Dogs: Legion’s multiplayer offerings will feature both PvP and PvE content. At launch, you’ll be able to roam around the entire world map with up to three friends, tackling co-op missions throughout London. As for PvP, Legion is bringing a free-for-all deathmatch called Spiderbot Arena that will likely see more content added throughout the year.

As is the case with most online games, Legion will include a separate progression system for its online modes. Both co-op and PvP activities will garner experience points that level up the pass, providing you with unique rewards and gear.

Watch Dogs: Legion multiplayer mode isn’t the only content dropping on March 9, as folks who purchased the Season Pass will also get a few new single-player missions.

Ubisoft released Watch Dogs: Legion’s Title Update 3.0 last month, laying the groundwork for the upcoming multiplayer mode. A closed technical test was also carried out, ensuring a smooth experience when it eventually rolls out to all players next month.

Watch Dogs: Legion is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
