Xbox held their E3 2021 event over the weekend, and it was one for the ages. Phil Spencer and co put on arguably their best ever E3 event, which showcased the strength of the Xbox Game Pass service to its full. The ‘Play it Day One with Xbox Game Pass’ graphic got plenty of use, with titles such as Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Contraband, Halo Infinite, Redfall, Psychonauts 2 and more showcased.

Besides being a clear example of how Microsoft’s studio spending spree is paying off big time, the Xbox E3 event reiterated what a great deal Xbox Game Pass is.

And, if you’re an Xbox fan, the great news is Microsoft still has plenty of games up its sleeve that weren’t showcased at E3 2021.

Already announced titles such as Hellblade 2, Avowed, Fable and Perfect Dark didn’t get a look in during the latest E3 event.

And anyone looking forward to these games from Xbox Game Studios has been given an update on when they can expect these titles to release.

Xbox reveal the upcoming Series X console

VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, who has an enviable track record when it comes to unannounced news, has revealed when games like Hellblade 2 will be coming out.

In a post online Grubb said Ninja Theory’s highly anticipated sequel, along with Avowed, Fable, Perfect Dark and more, are expected to launch in 2023.

Other titles expected to launch in 2023, according to Grubb, are Everwild, Contraband, The Coalition’s next non-Gears project as well as the next games from InExile and Compulsion.

Grubb said Xbox fans may hear more about the games set to launch in 2023 at the next E3 or, alternatively, around the time of this year’s The Game Awards in December.

One title that Grubb didn’t mention is The Elder Scrolls 6, which previously has been predicted to launch in 2024 or beyond.

That’s according to notable Xbox leaker Klobrille, who earlier this year gave predictions for the Xbox Game Studios release schedule for the next few years.

But in the meantime Xbox fans can look forward to plenty of great Game Pass games launching in 2021.

Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinte, Flight Simulator and Psychonauts 2 are all coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day One this year.

This is in addition to other inbound 2021 Game Pass titles like Hades, Twelve Minutes and Back 4 Blood.
