SEGA‘s hotly-anticipated Yakuza: Like a Dragon has finally revealed its Western release date in a new trailer. The seventh-entry of the Yakuza franchise focuses on a new cast of characters that can be set in a Party who can fill an assortment of jobs, like an idol or host club member.
The setup, including the new turn-based combat, transactions the action franchise to the JRPG genre, but with its own branded humor. Although the game focuses on the Japanese mafia, the title is known for its goofy scenarios and hilarious character situations. The footage above showcases a lot of action and how the job system will work in context with the world of Yakuza. The title also introduces the new setting of Yokohama, moving away from the usual Tokyo backdrop from previous games.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon is slated to launch November 13 for Xbox One, Windows 10, PlayStation 4, and Steam. It will also arrive on Xbox Series X as a day one title and for PlayStation 5 at a later date.
In other gaming news, Fall Guys is now set for a mobile release.
