Latest Pokemon Sword And Shield Event Features Every Gigantamax Pokemon

Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Gigantamax Meowth event has ended, but a new one is now underway. Starting June 2, developer Game Freak is bringing back every Gigantamax Pokemon for a limited time, giving you another chance to capture them.

Until June 29, Gigantamax Charizard, Gengar, Lapras, and more will appear more frequently in Max Raid battles. Some of these monsters will only be available in a specific version, while Gigantamax Snorlax will appear in both games. You can see which Gigantamax Pokemon will be available in each game below.

Before the Gigantamax Pokemon can appear in your game, you’ll need to refresh your Max Raid dens. You can do so either by connecting online via the Y-Comm or going into Mystery Gift and selecting Get the Wild Area news.

In the meantime, you can claim a free Galarian Ponyta with its Hidden Ability in Sword and Shield until June 4. A free Galarian Corsola will be available from June 5-11, and you can get a free Galarian Meowth starting June 12.

In other Pokemon news, The Pokemon Company recently revealed more details about The Isle of Armor–Sword and Shield’s first DLC. That expansion is slated to arrive on June 17.
