It’s a big year for Sony and PlayStation. Opting for a slower, more continuous drip of announcements instead of the all-at-once approach tech specs of the PS5 and PS5 controller this year, it’s running out of time to reveal the rest of the pertinent info, like the exact release date and price. Meanwhile, the PS4 isn’t losing steam and has some of the biggest games of the year, like The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. It’s the console’s last big year in the spotlight, but that also means we’ll get some fantastic deals on all things PS4 in 2020, including games, accessories, and both the Slim and Pro versions of the console. In fact, we’ve rounded up some cool deals you can take advantage of right now.
Although we’re seeing a lot of game deals, hardware has been hard to find, and we’re mostly seeing the PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, and PSVR going for the standard prices.

The PS4 Pro has been surprisingly difficult to find recently, but you’ll occasionally see new ones in stock at major retailers. Unfortunately, it’s been hard to find the console for cheaper than its $400 price tag. If you don’t need a pristine console ahead of the PS5 launch later this year, you can pick up the default version of the console for its list price over at Amazon for its standard price.
Best PlayStation Classic Deal

The PlayStation Classic launched in December 2018 for $100, which is easy to forget since it now regularly sells for $60 at most retailers. You can find a brand-new system for cheap at Amazon right now, though.
Best PS4 controller deal
DualShock 4 wireless controller for $60 at Target
The DualShock 4 wireless controller is crucial to any PS4 setup, and you’ll probably want more than one, both for convenience and for local multiplayer.
Best PlayStation Plus deal
$35 at Ebay
PlayStation Plus is Sony’s premium membership for PS4 owners that grants them access to online multiplayer, exclusive discounts, and two free monthly PS4 games (which you keep for as long as you’re a PS Plus member). Year-long memberships usually go for $60, so it’s always a big deal when the price drops below that level. Currently, one of the best deals on PS Plus is at Ebay, where you can get a 12-month subscription for cheap. PS Plus subscriptions stack, too, so if you’re already a member, you can extend your membership on the cheap when you see a good deal.
Best PlayStation VR deals
Iron Man VR PSVR Bundle for $350
There aren’t currently a ton of great deals on the PSVR headset itself, but the current bundle with the upcoming Iron Man VR and everything you need to play it is a decent way to get started.
Nioh 2 for $20
